Particle Group was founded in Brussels in 2014 to build software. Over the years the same skills, engineering, data and AI, met a lifelong passion for music: its founder has been producing electronic music since 1989. From that meeting came Particle Audio and, in 2026, SMDY Radio and Particle Music.
